Series of four 24x36" Acrylic on heavy weight archival watercolor paper.

These pieces were a meditation on negative space, gesture, and minimalism. The pieces led me, via a viewer's recommendation, to the work of Michael Heizer, beginning with the famous "Double Negative" so the series is titled in honor of the impressive grandeur of that piece and its catalyzing effect it has had on my practice.
